Earn your master's 学位 on an accelerated timeline
Accelerated 硕士学位 programs allow students at SBU the opportunity to complete the requirements for both their bachelor’s and 硕士学位s jointly to reduce 所需的总时间. In most cases, students can complete a 硕士学位 in 多一年.
Qualified students may earn up to 12 credit hours of graduate coursework while finishing 本科学历. Students should complete the SBU Accelerated Master’s Program Application when they are enrolled in an Accelerated 工商管理硕士 course. 应用程序 link will be provided in the course content. Students pursue only one accelerated 硕士学位.

Timeline for Accelerated Master’s Students
二年级或三年级(本科)
Qualified SBU undergraduate students apply to an accelerated master’s program by submitting the SBU Accelerated Master’s Program Application. Students must have completed at least 45 credit hours and have a minimum 3.0的机构 平均绩点.
Accelerated master’s applicants apply to the program before they complete an undergraduate 学位 and formally transition to full graduate status.
三年级或四年级(本科)
After being accepted to the graduate program, accelerated master’s students take undergraduate and graduate classes as an undergraduate student until they complete their bachelor’s 学位.
- During this period, accelerated master’s students will be able to take up to 12 hours of graduate credit under dual-listed courses (students will receive both undergraduate and graduate credit) while maintaining their undergraduate financial aid status.
- The bachelor’s 学位 will be awarded when the requirements of the bachelor’s 学位 已经满足了.
四年级或五年级(研究生)
Accelerated master’s students will transition to full graduate status when they complete the requirement for the bachelor’s 学位.
- During this period, accelerated master’s students will enroll in graduate classes 作为一名研究生.
